Martinis were a food group for my father in law, who died peacefully in
his sleep a few weeks short of his 95th birthday. He had a good hearty
breakfast, ate lunch in a restaurant or at one of his clubs. For dinner
he had peanut butter on crackers and a double martini, and sometimes a
second martini, then coffee and a cigar. He was in good physical and
mental condition right up the the end.
