I worked for five years in a community with 149 nationalities in it,
some I had never heard of before. After a couple of years you get used
to whatever form of English they used. Had trouble with American
southern accents when I came home. I had been listening to so many chi
chi accents for so long.

I called tech service for a cell phone we use, they were Americans in an
American city. Shocked the hell out of me.
