Just an accurate description of 'perceived' facial appearance. When a
Hong Kong Chinese lab boss of mine wanted to order personalised lab
coats for all of us, she didn't ask what size everyone wore. The Asian
members of the lab got coats nearly their size. We Westerners were given
coats typically about three sizes too large! Given that I was shorter
and slimmer than my boss (and fit into her lab coat), it clearly was a
matter of perception.
