Took younger daughter to university yesterday (I'm sure that wife
feels 'we abandoned her there'...). And my sister happened to be
within shouting distance, visiting her in-laws. So we all had lunch
at a local restaurant. Out of curiosity I ordered the "BBQ Nachos."
Tortilla chips topped with pulled-pork BBQ, sauce, BBQ baked beans,
onion, jalapenos, cheddar and ?provolone? (not sure). 1000 island
served on the side.

Unusual but darned good! It made me think of other potential nacho
combinations. How about chicken-divan nachos, with chicken and
broccoli and sauce atop chips? (crackers might be better) Alfredo
nachos, perhaps with some chopped asparagus and chicken along with the
alfredo sauce?

Other combinations? How about substitutes for tortilla chips?
