I've found it's too annoying to accept cookies every blinking time I
go somewhere. The annoyment for me is how some people feel about
allowing programs when they set up their firewalls... only it never
stops. So allowing them for the session is fine by me. I run CC
occasionally, but not as often as I should. In fact it was so many
months between cleanings I'd forgotten when I'd run it previously -
but no harm. It was just harmless stuff. Most web sites are one time
only for me anyway. I get more bang for my non-buck by running a
registry cleaner every now and then.
