Oh, I thought of a worse story.

Before I remodelled the kitchen, I had this crappy kitchen with a
wall oven. It broke a couple of times and cost the earth to repair.
Couldn't replace it because new wall ovens didn't fit in the opening.

At some point we didn't use it for a long time (being that it wasn't
working, duh). Didn't open it, just left it. Until one day, opened it.
You know those ant farms? When you opened the door, there it was
except not behind glass, just on the face of the oven, all the trails
and eggs and ANTS. I shudder just thinking about it. They loved that
nice undisturbed, pilot light heated ... ant habitat.
