I was talking about using them and not paying off the balance. If you read
the thread, you saw that the point JOAN objected to was my opinon that
credit cards are not any more a "useful tool" for those who consistently pay
them off every month than debit cards. It's a waste of time paying for
things twice, once with a credit card then later that month when you pay the
balance on the credit card. And of course, there ARE yearly fees on some of
them. I don't use them now but I have in the past.
