I can't believe that I received my November issue of Gourmet, packaged
as usual in plastic so they can throw in a few loose ads. What are
they trying to sell me this month? A 12 month gift subscription for
$16, plus a $4 subscription for me, so $20 for both of us to get 12
issues. 12 issues of what? I ask. November is the final issue of
Gourmet. And I think I have a lifetime subscription to Bon Appetit; it
never stops coming and I never get a bill, so I don't need the
rollover months.
