That sounds like salt water taffy from Atlantic City that comes in a
rainbow of flavors.

It's not made with salt either. I think it got it's name to evoke
thoughts of the shore in summer. Clever idea if that's true.

First time I had some I thought, if I was a dentist I'd give it to all my
patients! I learned to let it warm up in my pockets to soften them up.

I've never seen it in coins, only cylinders and drops.

How many flavors?
