While it's true that many of our politicians are attorneys it isn't
necessarily the key to entering politics. Many politicians in RI are
teachers, police officers, firefighters, etc.

The only thing necessary to enter politics is a willingness to leave
your conscience at the door. Oh, and an outstretched palm.
