Only ones with no pineapple.
6 lb. (12 c.) sugar
3 pt. water
6 pears
2 apples
Mix water and sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes. Grate the
pears and apples and add to the syrup. Boil 30 minutes. Put in canning
jars and process.

8 c. ripe pears (peeled & chopped)
5 c. sugar
1 lemon, juice & rind
Put all ingredients into large, heavy pot. Bring slowly to a boil and
simmer, until thick, about 45 minutes. Stir frequently to avoid burning.
Pour boiling mixture into jars. Leave 1/2" headroom. Process in boiling
water bath 20 minutes. Makes 1 quart.

8 c. pears, chopped
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 lemon
5 c. sugar
Wash, pare, core, finely chop and measure pears. Add lemon (sliced),
sugar, ginger and 1/2 cup water to pears. Boil until thick. Pour boiling
hot into jars and seal at once.

1 orange
1 1/2 lb. sugar
Orange rind, grated
Pare apples and pears. Remove seeds. Peel orange. Remove seeds. Grind
pears, apples and orange. Add sugar and cook 20 minutes, stirring
frequently. Add grated orange rind. Cook until thick.
