I've never prepped them myself, just had what others had to offer for a
"good luck" charm for the New Year at parties.

They were always gross. :-(

I guess I need to consider making them myself for once. So many people
are abysmal cooks!

Thing is, even canned ones I've tried have been gritty and nasty.
That's put me off trying to make them myself.
