Yes, if it is well made and well stored. I have even had 35 year old
Champagne that was simply gorgeous. Most of the bright fruit goes
away, leaving deep apricot-brandy-richness behind. Chardonnay
also, that morphing of the sharp brightness to a rich burnished
almost golden flavor to match the color change. If you can seek any
of these out, it is really worth the effort.
