Barb introduced me to these a few years ago.

They occasionally go on sale and a fantastic for travel. I keep one or
two in a pocket or purse on a trip and put whatever I buy in them or
even snacks or trash. They can hold dirty laundry and get washed right
along with the laundry or get carried onboard with last minute stuff
that doesn't fit in a suitcase. The nice thing is that they fold so
small and are so lightweight compared to other multi-use bags.

In addition, they don't cost a fortune (like LLBean or Lands End canvas
bags) so if someone really admires one, I don't feel bereft giving it away.
