I was in search of a couple of skillets yesterday - I already have a few
but often wished I had some different sized ones to what I have already.
Went to the usual retail outlets here... found a couple I liked (Scanpan
was one of them), but as many time before ended up buying these two
skillets from the local catering suppliers:

Just straightforward 18/10 SS with a 5mm sandwich base. The 34cm skillet
was only AUD$58 - about ¼ the price that the Scanpans sell for here...
not that I'm suggesting they're as good as the Scanpans, but I doubt
they're significantly inferior - or not enough for me to worry about,
anyway.
I'm going to christen the 34cm skillet tonight with a nice Coral Trout
fillet.
Nom nom nom.
