You must have got a defective pot pie. The beef in out Banquet pot
pies are this pressed and formed "styrofoam beef" (you can see air
bubbles in the beef). I still eat them at $.44/each - had 12 in the
last 3 months of cold wether (2 at a time). But they are not made
with lean, whole muscle beef by a longshot.
