We can now get various herbs in tubes. I thought that might be a viable
alternative for cilantro when I only need a small amount and don't want
to pay for a bunch and then have 1/4 got to waste. Last week I went to
pick some up, thinking it was about $2 per tube, but I got to the
checkout and was stunned to discover it was $5.89. I took it back and
got a bunch of fresh. I wish that they still carried the frozen cubes.
They were pretty good. Not as good as fresh, but much cheaper than the
tubes.
