How's this for a conspiracy theory?????

Toyota is too big. They are too good. They make cars that don't
lose value and just work. You just couldn't find a used Toyota
anywhere as cheap as other used cars because they hold their value.

American cars sucked. They made cars nobody wanted to buy. American
Auto industry in the toilet...even Ford is still struggling.

Computers and electronic systems are easily fiddled with...if you have
the expertise.

So, Toyota was targeted by some big players behind the American car
industry to take them down.

Look for a huge wave of 'stories' about Toyotas (note the Prius story
over the weekend that is being questioned) not working properly even
though Toyota does due diligence and shows that the symptoms are not
what are portrayed in the media.

Spread fear about Toyota in a big enough way and soon the market would
be flooded with Toyotas that people are scared won't work. People
afraid to buy a new Toyota because of all the media stories about
horrific experiences. If you spread enough fear you can take a
company down.

Sound like any other tactics you've ever heard of???
