A group of us met in Las Vegas for the annual soirée from
alt.vacation.las-vegas, but one of the ladies who lives in Vegas did not
show up. Many people wondered why she avoided us. She is also a
cruiser, so I had seen met at a cruiser's get together. BTW, I cruised
with 432 people who I met online in rec.travel.cruising. I went to a
cook-in in 1997 and in 1999 and I met quite a few people there. A group
of us from the newsgroup houston.eats would try out different
restaurants in Houston. I went scuba diving with a group from rec.scuba
and. I met someone at the nude beach at Sandy Hook in New Jersey, who I
met in rec.nude; if I was afraid of meeting people in real life, I would
have avoided that one for sure. lol
