fats domino tune, covered by the band on *moondog matinee*, highly
recommended.)
elliott also played for many years with danny gatton, if you've heard of
him.
if you go to the site, there's also a remarkable version of 'ode to billy
joe,' an instrumental with excellent dobro by another local dave, dave
giegerich.
but it's all good stuff, recorded a virginia beer joint i spend a fair
amount of time at. dave chappell, the telecaster player, is remarkable.
i love watching drummers sing for some reason.
