Ham IS fresh pork... don't you mean cured ham, like corned beef is
cured beef... if yer gonna attempt to 'splain something at least keep
all your apples and oranges sorted.
The intelligent comment would be that corning ones own beef won't
reduce sodium... meat still needs to be properly cured to prevent
serious illness and even death. I wouldn't recommend anyone prepare
their own corned beef without first educating themself about how...
corned beef is not merely marinated beef; apples and oranges.
