I saw bottles of white so-called "balsamic" vinegar
at Trader Joe's. It does say on the bottle that
it is not aged in wood barrels. That leads me
to ask in what sense is it balsamic vinegar?

I didn't buy any, so I don't have an opinion on
the taste.
