You could probably use them in Amazing Mackerel Pudding (might take
a couple of cans though to substitute for 1 can of mackerel)

The sardines packed in oil (drained) make better tuna salad than
canned tuna does. Not sure how the tomato sauced ones (or mustard
sauce) would work.
