That reminds me of my sister-in-law, who is Chinese. On day (years
ago, not very long after she first came to the USA) her husband asked
her to pour "two fingers" of scotch for him. She put two fingers in a
glass *vertically*, and measured that way.
He got a *lot* of scotch! <g>
