Heh.

I follow one poster who has been fairly reliable about getting stuff
out of Iran. He/she doesn't post that often, so I really notice it
when it happens.
It was really hard in the thick of the protests there, to determine
who was for real. I finally saw some posts somewhere, that said such
and such posters are to be trusted...so I started following them. I
am a news junkie anyway, so this really interested me, to keep up with
the news before it got to any of the papers/blogs, etc. In fact, the
source I follow now, is evidently a source for some of the blogs and
papers.

So far, Twitter has managed to stay "alive" in Iran...with people
keeping illicit links alive and providing covert access to Twitter. It
is still touch and go though...

So I see Twitter as providing a valuable service, in this regard.

OB Food: Heading out to market later on today, just to get some
basics. However, I just noticed that the Mexican megamart has fresh
pork picnic shoulders (at $0.78/pound) and I am thinking about picking
one up. I will put it into the freezer and then take it (still
frozen) to wherever my next contract is. It would be one of the first
things I cook, wherever. If I am near my smoker, it will be smoked.
