Right now they're offering a free trial of "Amazon Prime" which is
free 2 day shipping, and $4 next day shipping per item for a year
for $80.

The first 30 day "trial" is free. I had it for 29 days and then
[barely remembered to] canceled it. But I ordered 5 items during
that time and got free 2-day shipping on all 5.

Of course they're planning on you to forget to cancel in 29 days and
charging your card for $80. Those were the only 5 items I ever
ordered from Amazon.
