Why am I not surprised? I spent a couple of weeks visiting relatives in
various parts of Scotland (in mid-summertime) in the late 1970s; on the
one and only day it didn't rain and the sun actually came out from
behind the clouds I took a photograph of it. The Universe must have
known I was gonna be there at that particular time...

Mind you, I believe Ireland isn't much drier and can be even colder, if
that's possible. ;-)
