TN: Santa Rita 2007 Reserva Cabernet
Loosening the strings a bit last night, I prepared a dinner of:
boeuf haché dans le style d'Hubert Keller
pomme de terre cuite
carottes dans le vinaigre de cidre
brocoli cuit Ã* la vapeur
With it, I opened a recently acquired Santa Rita Reserva 2007 Cabernet
Sauvignon. I have always been fond of Santa Rita's style, but this
example seems to have shined brighter than usual. Fruit, plums, nectar, a
hint of Vanilla and soft accessible Tannins came to the fore. This
probably would not be a candidate for another twenty years - but then,
neither am I. ;-)
