.... An old KitchenAid mixer with a glass bowl! It works too.
There were two, and the first one I plugged in smelled like
something was burning. That one had the bowl, beaters, and the
metal thing that covers the hole for the attachments. I asked
whether I could take the accoutrements and then did so. This one
is missing the metal ring that is supposed to be on the outside of
the aforementioned hole. I hope I can find one.

I probably should have gotten the newer KA too. I think it may be
a wee bit older than my own, but am not sure. They were only $25
each, and someone would have wanted it, I'm sure.
