So you financially support US citizens who knowingly defraud the
government by evading taxes but any illegal immigrants who do the same
thing should be locked up?

Oh..... I see. US citizens have the RIGHT to screw over the rest of
country by not paying their taxes. I shouldn't mind paying more taxes
to make up the shortfall because you get a good deal by paying people
"under the table".
