Nope, hunters and gatherers were/are nomads too, any peoples whose
lifestyle is to travel about are nomadic. Hunters and gatherers are
much more nomadic than shepherds.

Anyway the first use of the wheel was not for transportation,
artifacts show it was a potter's wheel.
