Default OT Tipping movers

I've had a few interesting moving experiences.

When we were "downsizing",
we made a 1000 mile do-it-yourself move.
Bought the packing material. ( no, they don't give it away )
Packed, loaded the rental truck, drove the thousand miles,
unloaded, returned the truck, etc. etc.... It was a BALLBUSTER !
And when all was said and paid for, not cheap.
Later, a local mover, remarked that, for about $200 more,
a moving company would have loaded, delivered
and unloaded our goods. It would've been worth it.
Lesson learned; Get estimates before "doing it yourself"

Another interesting move/estimate...
We pack, they load, deliver, unload, we unpack.
The estimate ( Pa to Az ) ... "about a buck-a-pound".
That's the first time we ever made take/leave choices
based on the heft of an item.
( it's hell if you have an extensive book collection )
