Where do you have your oven in your kitchen? If it is under the
counter in a corner in a more confined space I could
see where it might overheat and cause the safety cut off to activate.
Even the most expensive counter tops generate
quite a bit of heat and if they are in a confined space they problem
you are having might show up.
