Austrian Wine
Wanted to let you know about a new importer of Austrian wines called
Winemonger. We're based in California, but will be able to sell via
the internet to 28 states when we launch in the spring. I'm not just
shilling for my company, though- i mention it because Feiler-Artinger
is one of the labels we will be importing, and I agree with your
sentiment about their wine! The good news is that you'll be able to
buy our Austrian labels here in the states for much less than you
could before, because the only thing between you and the vinters is us
(as opposed to there being about 5 people between you and the vintner,
including an export broker, distributer, etc. etc.)
But the important part is that i got into this becuase i really love
these wines. So if anyone wants to talk Austrian wines, i'd love to
share what I can!
Our other vinters include:
Donabaum (Johann, from Wachau)
Lagler
Hogl
Velich
Pasler
Tscheppe
Tschermonegg
Braunstein
Marutishof Gritsch
Gsellman & Gsellman
Weiss
Wenzel
Heiss
