If you have the time, sure, what the heck. It's Jeff's Classic
Maid-Rite and I'm unable to find specific location info for it -- I'm
pretty sure it was off Exit 127. Watch for signs. The closer you are
to Des Moines, I suspect you'll find a lot. No idea if they all sell
the ones with the soggy buns.

I haven't looked at any recipes for them -- the meat is not browned and
is loose - no tomato sauce to kind of hold it together. I think Roseann
Barr called them (or similar) loosemeat sandwiches.

We stopped because I've not had one in 20 years and it would have been
wrong to be in Ioway and NOT have one. :-)
