Default Are we (USA) the only ones who eat corn on the cob?

Well, we did that with leftover cornonthecob. If there was
any. Then we would fry it up with butter and sugar and make
a sort of candied corn. I used to love that stuff.
But I can't imagine someone cooking it on the cob only to
cut it off and fry it. That's just insane. ;-)
