Anyone here a member of "Cooking Club of America"? I got mail from
them today.
My first thought was "Sounds like a scam". But it's "only" $1 a month.
Of course, I'd want to pay that all in one lump sum, last thing I need
to have to do is remember to pay another monthly bill! $12/year, you
get a monthly magazine, $100 worth of coupons for groceries, and if
you test any of their products, you get to keep them and just send
back a survey. I know someone who claims she got a set of pots for
free, and a few other items, from them.

At any rate, part of me is wondering "If it sounds too good to be
true, it probably is" and part of me is thinking "maybe it's not a
scam. Free stuff is free stuff".

The mailing they sent is high on hype--lots of great buzz words they
hope will hook you but there's not a lot of detail and I know that's
intentional.

So if anyone has any experience with this "club", would like to hear
about it.
