review: tofu shirataki noodles
the smell is terrible like fish out of the package but I learned a trick to
make them pleasant. I rinse them in cold running water then drain in a fine
mesh strainer, then nuke them with a bit of chicken broth for 4 minutes and
then drain and use like I would any thin pasta.
my preference is the spaghetti over the linguini because the spaghetti has
the consistency of angle hair pasta the linguini is a bit rubbery.
my current favorite recipe is to nuke the noodles with wheat free soy sauce
and five spice powder and chicken breast and sesame oil and chili..yum!
makes a excellent lo mien!
