My father has US$300 tennis shoes. They look just like any other tennis
shoes, although they were custom fitted. He used to get his nails cut,
at US$140 each time. He didn't pay for either one of these, you and I
paid, from Medicare. My sister fired the nail trimmer, because he
wanted my father to have unnecessary surgery. My father has no pain in
his feet (no feeling, either), and his problems with walking have to do
with his legs, not his feet.
