Yes, I should have trimmed the posting...good point.

I once worked for a Korean-Canadian couple and as a matter of course I
got a free lunch every day at their restaurant. I didn't care for
their kimchi and rarely sampled it. Perhaps one can acquire a taste
for it but I'd just as soon have fresh cabbage salad with shredded
cabbage, chopped apple, vinegar, sugar and cream as per my mother's
recipe.
