Default Thanksgiving menu, sort of

Turnips *do* have a fairly strong flavor, and there are some people (Lin
included) who associate that flavor with Thanksgiving. (Her family cooks
rutabagas for Thanksgiving.) But I don't plan to have anything like that
this year, so the turnips would just be an extra effort, and I'll need all
the time I can save!
