I never put shellfish or meat in my stuffing/dressing and am not fond
of the ones that have it. Not because I'm a vegetarian, but because
that's the way my mother did it and I bet her mother did it that way
too.

Isn't that the way "everyone" makes gravy... except you add it to the
pan drippings. Yum.
