I guess I'm an odd person. I'm more interested in the "sides" and the
condiments than the "main" dish.

I'm very interested in the derivation of words. That doesn't mean that
they have that meaning, of course. So the word "salsa" is simply
"sauce" in Spanish. It doesn't have that meaning in the US, but that's
what the word means. The word "picante" means "spicy" in Spanish. So a
mild picante would translate into a "mild spicy". The fact that you
capitalized it might mean that you are referring to a brand name, which
makes a lot more sense.
