No, they're plastic. They *look* like metal b/c they have sparklies in
the weave. I like 'em better than the old Tuffys, actually. They're
more dense, but still plenty flexible. My only complaint with either
of 'em is that they don't do corners well. They're a nice adjunct to
my ScotchBrite scrubber, though.
