Default turkey thawing advice needed

Thanks Shel. To be truthful, I've always in the past made sure I
had a thawed (or fresh) turkey on the day I needed it, so it
is uncharacteristic of me to try doing it this way this time.

It's been out of the freezer too long, plus I have no freezer space
for it. So I'm pretty much committed to cooking it, if not on
Monday then sometime later in the week.
