Literal LOL! I made and served hummus to a non-foodie friend and when
she asked what it was, I wound up for a long essay on
chickpeas/garbanzos, tahini, the problems in the middle east, etc.,
and stopped just in time. "Bean dip," I said. "GREAT bean dip," she
replied. Smiles all 'round.
