I get Tisdale wines 3/$10 on the east coast. We are in a state with
very high "vice taxes". I like the Merlot and Shiraz and their
Chardonnay is ok, too, but I prefer Pinot Grigio for white wine and I
haven't seen Tisdale Pinot Grigio here, I don't know whether they make
one or if it's just not carried near me. I don't mind a sweeter
Merlot.
I have one friend who shops at the same store I do: we both
(independently) tried the Tisdale wines b/c of their price and found
we like them. I visited them once at the beginning of our friendship
and they served it with dinner... I said "Oh, I buy that all the time!
I drink it at home, I love it!" They were a bit embarrassed b/c they
realized I knew how cheap it was and apologized. I told them not to
apologize... we were both smart, not rich. Now it's an inside joke...
we bring 3 bottles of Tisdale when we visit one another. It's kinda
funny.

I also like Crane Lake Pinot Grigio. $8 for a magnum. Yes, I tried it
b/c it was cheap. But I keep buying it b/c I like it.
