I see what you're saying here- and it probably *is* a step in the
right direction to make stuff at home out of boxes and cans instead of
going to McDonald's. But while you're already in the kitchen,
surrounded by tools and all the equipment necessary to make real
food... why not just cook for real?
I don't mean something extravagant and impressive and stuff like some
of these high-end tv chefs might do. But how about a lasagna, a
salad, maybe a stew or some grilled pork chops and mashed potatoes. I
haven't watched the food network but all of maybe 15 hours my whole
life, but it seems like you've got Sandra Lee on one end, and gourmet
chefs on the other end. Not a lot of middle ground. I know a $15
cookbook can teach you these things too, but give the lazy fux a
chance?
But I could be wrong.
