Steaming veggies with salt water?

What for... just a waste of salt... the salt does not evaporate from
boiling water so it never reaches the veggies. You're steaming with
distilled water. If dissolved minerals evaporated from boiling water
life on this planet would cease to exist as we know it.
However when steaming veggies much of their nutrients end up in the
water so it would often be more beneficial to toss the veggies and
drink the water. Steaming veggies is the least healthful cooking
method. Stir frying or sweating the most healthful.
