Default Late Valentines dinner.... and presents

It will be tonight (15th), but at least she's getting one!!

For the souffle, I picked up some gruyere cheese, as well as emmental, and
was going to mix the two (as in the classic fondue mix), but have decided
(for once) to stick with the recipe and just use emmental. So that will
give it a softer flavour.

Instead of the ocean trout for the main, she who will eat it decided on a
very nice pork cutlet to go with the radish apple and cucumber salad, and
the roast potatos with cummin salt.

For VDay, I got a very nice card, with a selection of artisan fudges, one
being a cherry ripe fudge (cherry ripe being my most favourite chocolate
thing!!). At least it's (the fudges) something I can eat.

She got a Kindle (3G and WiFi), with multipurpose cover, a light, and a
Aust plug in adapter/charger.....(all Kindle accessories for the mentally
challenged.)

She is a voracious reader, and with this one she'll be able to download a
new book just about anywhere in the world.... even sitting by the pool in
Thailand/Bali..... while I'm off jumping out of planes :-)

We're the ones that they knock down, and we get up again."
